This is the view from the accommodation provided by my employers, It is located right next to the Banjar river across which lies the National Park and is surrounded by paddy fields and Patches of Sal Forests.
Hello everyone :)
Its been a month for me in these jungles,
Just to give you a brief introduction, The Kanha National Park and Tiger Reserve is located right in the heart of India and is infested with tigers among other wild animals. The park is spread over close to 2000 Sq Kilometers and has a variety of flora and fauna. Kanha is a forest dominated by Sal trees and dense undergrowth and is also home to over 300 species of birds and over 40 species of animals.
From the past one month I have been undergoing rigorous training to enhance my knowledge of wildlife.
So Its become getting up @ 0430 hrs (its the time I used to go to sleep when I was in the cities), then after the morning session a 1 hour break and then, back to training again up to lunch, then a two hour break and back in the field again till dusk, the whole schedule has changed drastically, but I am loving it like anything :)
